"The reality of the other person lies not in what he reveals to you, but what he cannot reveal to you. Therefore, if you would understand him, listen not to what he says, but rather to what he does not say." --Kahlil Gibran

I am back...for now!

Sad. I know. I have been away so long.

Sometimes I have a hard time thinking of what to write that isn't going to be all about baby or school. My life is pretty consumed by both!

So...here is my blog update in the short form--

Baby...I am under 70 days! Yeah! Baby Ellery will be here soon! We are so busy making prepartations for her arrrival! ...which leads me to school!

School...I am loving my new classes, but my schedule is quite full. Planning to go on maternity leave seems like more work than actually trying to come in...seriously. Writing the manuals for teaching my classes and the lesson plans, etc...is exhausting and time consuming. But...it will let me stay home with Ellery for at least 5 weeks. Basketball...planning to come back 2 weeks after having the baby. Wow...am I crazy?

Joe'l...is back at school full time at FPU working on his teaching credential.

Mads...just got a new bike today! She tested advanced, passed the GATE test and is doing well...might as well reward the kid with a new bike!

Presidential Election...Are you kidding me...do the Republicans think they can pull Hillary supporters by putting a woman in the election? Did we forget that we liked the LIBERAL part of Hillary for than the WOMAN part? I love that a woman was selected, but I would prefer that it be a woman who was not a beauty queen who was against abortion and a right winged religioso! And...ummm...hello? Obama doesn't have enough experience? Yeah. Please...if McCain wins and dies in office do we want a one term governer of a state that probably doesn't need one as the president (regardless of gender/color, etc)! Wow.

Congratulations to the new homeowners, the newly pregnant, the newly promoted, the newly moved, etc.

:) August 1 ALREADY?

I can't believe that it's August 1st already!

Joe'l and I were married one year ago on August 4th! Yeah! We made it one year...aren't the first year and the seventh year the hardest? Well...one hurdle jumped!

Joe'l, Mads, and I are going to Pepperdine Universtiy with 7 high school girls August 4-6 for a basketball camp. I am looking forward to going as it will be good for these girls (who only won one game last year)...but I am a little tired these days. Wish me luck.

Pregnancy is progressing nicely. I hurt my back 2 weeks ago and have had to go the chiropractor and the physical therapy, but I am getting by. Back injuries suck...but I should be in good physical strength when I have the baby.

...And...We are going to see The Mummy movie today! yeah! I love those movies!
